In our March SIMformation, we look at the Spring Windows 10 Update and some of the new features and improvements coming down the pike from Microsoft.  Some are new features, others are existing features that have been renamed, and some security improvements rolled in, as well.  We will be checking this update to be sure it "does no harm" to existing programs.  Not to be left out, we also look at some new releases from Apple, as well.

The use of emojis in today's communications has created a new legal issue - can they be interpreted as sarcasm, slander or just amusement?  We look at some examples lawyers have tackled and question if you need to use these in business communications.  And, on the browser side of the Internet, Chrome has launched a new ad blocker feature, hoping to cut down on the annoying pop-ups, video-based and "sticky ads" that clutter up your screen and don't add any value to the content you are reading.

Finally, we look at the convergence of AI (artificial intelligence) and virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa, and how these assistants are moving into business-focused applications.  This opens a new chapter in the ability to access information or control devices by speech, rather than clicking through computers.
